• You - references to "you" and other second-person pronouns such as "your" in this Policy mean you as an ArcoVPN user.

This Policy describes how we use information we receive about you when you visit our website, or when you subscribe to or otherwise use our online services. This Policy does not cover any information about you that may be received through third-party channels.

Statement on Applicability and Non-Applicability of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act:

The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act applies to the online collection of personal information from children under 13. ArcoVPN does not collect any personal information about children under 13. Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not authorize children under 13 to access or use our Services. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information to us, we will make every effort to delete such information.

This Policy is the latest version as of the "Last modified" date above. We reserve the right to modify or revise this Policy and our other policies and agreements at any time and in any manner. • Client diagnostics: To troubleshoot problems, the ArcoVPN apps and VPN extension keep redacted, encrypted runtime diagnostics on the device, including connection states, error codes, performance counters, and timestamps. These diagnostics do not contain browsing history, traffic content, or raw DNS queries, and are not a record of browsing activity. When you choose to include diagnostics and submit a support ticket, an encrypted report containing device and app version metadata and app and VPN extension diagnostics is uploaded to our support service for troubleshooting only. Runtime diagnostics are distinct from browsing activity logs; this Policy does not make a blanket zero-logs claim.

4. Cookies and Advertising

Website cookies are used for essential functions such as sign-in and language preferences. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, although some website functions may then be unavailable. This website description does not authorize tracking of activity carried through the VPN.

We do not provide personal information to third-party advertisers or advertising networks. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising, targeted advertising, marketing, or promotions. We do not use VPN data for advertising profiling or cross-site tracking.

5. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell, use for third-party purposes, or disclose to third parties any data obtained through the VPN service. We do not provide personal information to third-party advertisers. The following general provisions do not authorize sharing VPN data or using personal information for advertising or marketing:

• Affiliates. We may disclose the information we collect to our affiliates or subsidiaries; however, if we do so, their use and disclosure of your personal information will be subject to this Policy.
• Service providers. We may disclose the information we collect to third-party vendors, service providers, or agents who perform functions on our behalf.

We also disclose information in the following circumstances:

• Business transfers. If we are or may be acquired by or merged with another company, if any of our assets are transferred to another company, or as part of a bankruptcy proceeding, we may transfer the information we have collected to another company.

Your data at ArcoVPN will be stored in encrypted form on servers with limited access permissions to prevent unauthorized access.

All of our employees protect your privacy in strict accordance with our privacy policy and security guidelines when handling your personal information.

We will not provide any information for internet censorship purposes to relevant authorities in mainland China unless those legal provisions are recognized in the laws of most sovereign countries in the world or have comparable precedents.

8. Retention of Personal Information

ArcoVPN will retain your personal information and modification history for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law or regulation.

Local runtime diagnostics in the apps retain only the most recent 24 hours and are also subject to a storage limit; older records are removed as the log is maintained or read, and account cleanup deletes the local diagnostics. Reports you choose to upload are handled as support ticket attachments for troubleshooting and are subject to the support service retention policy, rather than the local 24-hour window.

Any legally required handling of non-VPN information by a service provider must remain limited to the necessary purpose and this Policy; it does not authorize advertising use or third-party sharing of VPN data.

If you delete your ArcoVPN account, personal information related to you will be completely cleared.

9. Security of Your Information

We have taken reasonable precautions to protect the information we collect from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. For example, we take measures, including data encryption, to protect the transmission of sensitive user information. Nevertheless, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent third-party "hackers" from illegally obtaining this information. We take reasonable measures to prevent such security breaches, but given the sophistication of cybercriminals, we cannot guarantee that our security is 100% breach-proof. Although we take reasonable security measures, you still bear the risk of such data breaches.

10. Communications from Us

We send account, security, service status, and support ticket notices needed to provide the service. We do not use your personal information to send advertising, marketing, or promotional messages.

11. How to Access or Modify Your Information

You can view and manage your account information in the ArcoVPN apps, or sign in to thewebsite user centerto view your subscription, devices, and orders. To access or correct other personal information, contact us through online support or a support ticket in the app.
